18 hours agoThe worst thing is when they try to export this culture to other countries. Boycotting American gig-economy apps is the best thing you can do to try to curtail this.

I’m sorry he put the words “free market” into your mouth when there was none of that in your post. FWIW, Japan would be worse off if cheap rice flooded the market and eradicated domestic rice production.
These need to be washable, otherwise every time I accidentally wear them into the shower I’m going to have to buy another pair.

It doesn’t smell bad to me at all, and it tastes absolutely delicious. I believe it’s because I actually can’t smell the badness. To me, it tastes like a sweet rich custard.
If you remove the part about grilling, this applies to a tremendous number of video games too.
I’m okay wth it if they also provide free Wi-fi on premises. Otherwise they’d be using my data plan for their business.
4·14 days agoI’ve had the same thought myself. Also I think the more accomplished someone is at something, the less they bring it up since they must be so comfortable with it, so there’s an even smaller chance of discovery.
Grippy coating likely to be some kind of polymer, unfortunately.

I’ve experienced that in the US also, but thankfully where I am Square does not display the tip request screen. So far, I’ve only noticed requests for tips in the gig economy apps, and I appreciate that you’re drawing attention to how much more pervasive it is in the US. All the more reason to not have it spread here.
