I don’t know what that stuff in the post in question is, so I just called it vertical text. Until I squinted, I thought it might have been Manchu script :D

I hadn’t even considered that.
My issue with it is that, instead of the space for it expanding to fit it, it overflows and covers UI elements like username, reply button etc.
I see the vertical text overlaps UI elements in the Notifications window too. And in comments.

Minor nitpick: I think you need to distinguish shows where there’s more than one with that title.
E.g The Office (UK) vs The Office (US). Or Battlestar Galactica (1978) vs Battlestar Galactica (2004).
Other possibilities: Shogun, Shameless.

Residents of mainland China, which is now under the jurisdiction of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), were identified as nationals given the pre-1949 history of the Republic of China. In May 2023, Executive Yuan released a policy memorandum to clarify that: “The people of mainland China do not have ROC nationality, and hence are not ROC nationals.” (中國大陸人民不具中華民國國籍、非屬中華民國國民)[12] Legal scholars, on the other hand, argue that the matter is not resolved as executive branch explanations are not legally binding to courts. Hence, unless amended by the Legislative Yuan, both the Nationality Act and the Cross-Strait Act still include citizens of Mainland China (i.e., the PRC) as ROC nationals.

But IIRC it just would not go full screen (you need to buy the full version for that I think) and I soon uninstalled it.
And the last time I tried IPTVnator on Android, it couldn’t handle a large playlist, like IPTV-org.

3·11 days agoNot an expert but I’ve read comments that it handles complex MS Office-created documents better than Libre Office, as internally LO converts everything into ODF, even if it will be saved in original MS file format. IIRC Only Office, SoftMaker, and WPS leave the file in MS format, leading to less unwanted changes.
1·11 days agoI think my way is far worse: I write in an unsynced plain text note app on my phone, and then when I need it on my computer, Share > KDE Connect > copy & paste into a text editor.
(I gave Joplin a quick try but didn’t like the non-WYSIWYG-ness on the phone.)
