I think those living the drama enjoy it and thrive from it, seeing as they haven’t just created a new account where they would be free from it.
Pretty much the opposite, the sync between lemm.ee and aussie.zone goes much faster than between lemmy.world and aussie.zone so having the [email protected] allows you guys to interact without having to wait for hours and hours for comments to sync between instances.

Stop consuming more than you need. Maintain what you already own. Don’t buy it because it’s better than what you have, if what you have is already good enough. Buy second hand when you can. Lend and loan with friends when it comes to seldomly used tools.
Buy maintainable stuff instead of the cheap copy that has no repairability (Think of the boots theory and don’t get tricked into spending more in the long term just to spend less now).
And the hardest bit would be to stop comparing yourself and your life with that of those around you, I think that the rat race is the main driver of consumption together with all that wealth peacocking.

I would increase BASE_CAMP_MAX_NUM_IN_GUILD and maybe also BASE_CAMP_WORKER_MAXNUM for the dedicated server.
There’s raid bosses that you summon in camps, and it is nice to be able to have a camp that is dedicated for said raid battles.
Increasing workers allowed per camp allows you to make those battles easier as you have more troops out at the same time.

EU is forcing some consumer friendly requirements from 20 June 2025 onwards which I imagine will give you a wider availability of models with five years of updates. Should give some incitement for the companies to join in.
