I read that book actually for a class in a small university, and I highly recommend it to anyone. Did not know the author was a Harvard professor.

Eating a foot long the looooonggg wayyy
It does not
Have you looked into shoe inserts that essentially reduce the size of the shoe interior? My friend has extremely small feet and faces a similar problem of not finding shoes that are small enough, and I think she’s had some luck with the inserts
I really want to try uni someday! I’ve yet to see it on the menu where I live
Goat cheese, lamb/mutton, truffle and any kind of mushroom, spicy foods
Once I had this dark chocolate with chile pepper and pop rocks in it, no one else wanted to try it but I really liked it
There are many tube worms that do have digestive tracts, but I assume you are talking about chemosymbiotic tube worms that are found in methane seeps and hydrothermal vents. These guys essentially live in farts (hydrogen sulfide, methane), which their symbionts use for chemosynthesis.
Amazing, thanks for sharing!!
I’ve only have wild boar jerky before and it was pretty tasty, but you gotta get the meat tested first bc they can carry some serious diseases.
Sorta fun fact from my organizmal bio teacher: the reason you never hear about pork being cooking medium rare is that we are fairly closely related to pigs and so we are susceptible to many of the diseases that can infect pigs.
Sea levels are predicted to rise about “0.63–1.60 m (2–5 ft) mean sea level rise by 2100, and that by 2150, the total sea level rise in this scenario would be in the range of 0.98–4.82 m (3–16 ft) by 2150” (Fox-Kemper et al. 2021) so not really a noticeable amount in most of our lifetimes. The amount it rises will probably exceed these predictions as our CO2 emissions show no sign of decreasing anytime soon and gestures wildly at everything. But sea level rise is predominantly caused by thermal expansion of the oceans, not necessarily glacial melting, contrary to popular belief. Basically, as the earth gets warmer, most of the heat is absorbed by the oceans since they make up such a significant portion of our surface, and the water molecules expand causing the volume to increase.
Edit: not sure how to properly put a block quote on here
Thank you! Also the fork is a good idea 🙂
My nerd man says it’s less of “the call is coming from inside the house” and more of a “you can’t go back in time and kill yourself” situation XD
Can you share a link for that info? A friend of mine is a probationary fed who just got fired, so I’m trying to help in any way that I can
It started in elementary school thru middle school for us. They marketed being good at cup stacking as indicative of being good at other athletics.
Hookworms can be acquired by bare skin against contaminated soil, so it’s theoretically possible, especially if TheBrideWoreCrimson wore their birthday suit
Do you have the timestamp for the ATC audio? I’m having trouble hearing what was being said
I hope you find a place soon, sending hugs and good vibes your way
I remember this happening too. It was mostly fast food restaurants that were supposedly going to shut down bc “young people would rather sit back on the stimulus check than work minimum wage in shit conditions” while boomers couldn’t stand missing their mcfatty meal at every whim. That’s how the news spun the narrative around 2020-2022 during the height of the anti work movement. I’m sure I could find a source if I visibly gags checked my old reddit account
Any tips you can share for those of us who are too broke for therapy?
Yeah, what’s up with that? Been noticing it takes forever lately
