I disagree, conservatives reduce taxes on corporations and the rich. Alphabet has all the incentive to subtly (or not) nudge the narrative so more people vote conservative.
I definitely notice the political ragebait suggestions too. I’ve had all kinds of blocking on the platform for a long time, so it’s scary to think (but not overly surprising) that that is what they’re trying to spoonfeed everyone.
With that, survey data are some of the poorest quality data.
Tidal does. Haven’t tried others.
Never lose as long as you have a good backup strategy.
I agree, the assignments will need to adapt to discourage the use of LLMs. Easiest is in-class writing or written exams. Unfortunately that takes away from other class activities.
I remember one of my favourite courses in university had exams where you could bring in any resource you wanted (excluding phones), because the exam was written in a way that required understanding of the core topic, something you can’t simply look up.
Support local first.
That disclaimer is absolutely necessary.
Nope. No one person ever needs anything near that amount of money.
An HRV tempers the incoming air with the air going out no matter the season. So, in winter, it recovers some heat from the exhaust air and exchanges it with the cold intake air, keeping heat inside.
In the summer, it’s the opposite. The exhaust air cools the hot intake air, keeping the heat outside.
It’s essentially always working for your benefit (except for one edge case that I can expand on if you’d like), always providing fresh air and exhausting stale air while helping to keep the interior temperature where desired.
I’d recommend keeping it on all the time, no matter if you open windows or not.
I’ve just started using linkwarden and love it as well. I chose it over Karakeep because it archives a copy of the page so it’s still accessible if the original page is modified or becomes inaccessible in the future.
What are you using for oil? Perhaps it’s rancid. Or perhaps you have an allergy.
Tbh, a lot of people don’t really care if they get their money’s worth. Look at the Call of Duty franchise. A new release every year that most of the playerbase moves to, effectively makes much of the purchased goods on the older game obsolete.
I find you can get close to the old Bitwarden extension functionality with changing the appearance settings. I agree though, the interface change was definitely a step backward.
Organic Maps is mentioned several times in here, but just a note, the project was forked due to the closed nature of some parts of the project and profit seeking of the major shareholders, contradictory to stated values.
The fork is called CoMaps. It doesn’t look like there’s an app release quite yet, but I’d watch for it coming soon.
I heard about the Organic Maps fork but they were still looking for a name. I like that theyve gone with CoMaps. Short, easy to remember, and represents what the app stands for.
Just another day in Florida.
I’ve always preferred Greek salad without the lettuce. It just gets soggy too quickly. A lettuce-less Greek salad also keeps decently well for a day or two.
In a school zone at that. Just the price to speed (and kill children) if you’re rich.
